Promoting you is so critical, that you absolutely cannot make another move in marketing until you read the rest of this blog post. In fact, I am so confident of what I am about to share with you, that I KNOW you will truly benefit from it.

There comes a time, when you need to identify with others in order to run your business. This means that you need to be able to convey to people WHY you do what you do, and nothing more. It isn’t until you really share with others what you want to accomplish, that they understand you, your message, and of course why you do what you do.

I can remember when I first  started in this industry, and simply recalling times when people called me or sent me emails and I thought it would never end. The thing is, people do business with those they like and trust, and this applies to you. People want to do business with you because they like you and trust you. Make sense?

I am going to share with you, how you can focus more on promoting you, and letting go of the products, the rush to spend, and the never ending barrage of promises made on webinars-FOREVER.

Promoting You Means a Real Connection with People

It has been said that people like to do business with people, and it’s true. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone announce how much they hate automated phone systems, or talking to the computer.

Yes, even in an online business, it’s about being personal and real with people that wins the day. The reality is that not even the most established leaders in the industry can win people over until they have broken down the walls and made a real connection with people that they can win.

This means that it doesn’t even matter how enticing the product is. Until people have really made a difference in the lives of others, and are willing to share their personal experience and knowledge, they won’t be able to really make a solid connection with them.

So, how do you do this?

  1. You share valuable information and content with them 
  2. You share what you’ve learned and how you made it 
  3. You avoid hoarding information lest you get too proud of yourself 
  4. You offer valuable products that help people
  5. You offer FREE information that will be of value to them NOT YOU

Trust me, when you do this, you’ll still be promoting you and they will buy from you every time! People always remember those that have given to them, and they are going to be super grateful and happy to refer others to you when you live this way. It’s not rocket science, it’s just the truth!

Promoting you means servant leadership. Plain and simple!

Promoting You is Easy When You Reach Out to Others

Did you know that it’s true that giving is better than receiving? While you may have your own reasons to agree or not to agree, remember that you would want someone to do the same for you.

I guess you could say in many ways that it’s true that reaching out to others is truly the way to get people to come around to your way of thinking, and you need to let people know the challenges you had yourself when you first started too. Don’t be shy of telling the truth, because anything else will really make you irrelevant.

If you can abide by these few simple truths, you’ll find that promoting you is super easy, and that you’ll be better able to build your online business without ever blinking an eye!
